Police have apprehended a runaway bird causing traffic chaos in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire Police have revealed that the ostrich caught earlier today on a roundabout in Coningsby is in fact an emu.
Police were called to reports that an ostrich was loose on a roundabout in the town causing travel chaos.
Officers took the bird to a nearby farm where it was positively identified as an emu.

At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
