Rare opportunity to see last two Lancaster Bombers
The last two Lancaster bombers still flying will be brought together later this year, for a series of unique airborne events.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire , will welcome the only other flying Lancaster, from Canada, for a month-long visit in August.
The Coningsby aircraft will take part in dual flypasts and displays with its Canadian counterpart. The visit has been organised as a salute to veterans of Bomber Command.
It's being described as a once in a lifetime chance to see the pair, as the North American plane will not be making the journey again.
