An 11-year-old boy has died after being hit by a tractor at a popular farm in West Yorkshire. A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving.

Police have released the following statement following the death of an 11-year-old boy at a farm in Rothwell.
"An 11-year-old boy was in collision with a tractor at Swithens Farm, Rothwell. The boy died last night in hospital following surgery. A 48-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving. He has been bailed pending further inquiries."
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
