Soldiers and officers from the 2nd Signal Regiment who have recently returned from a six month tour of Afghanistan will receive their Operational Service medals today. The ceremony is taking place at Imphal Barracks in York. The 300 soldiers were deployed in Helmand Province and Kabul.
