'The Harbour' coming to Wakefield

A painting by artist William Scott valued at more than £500,000 has been given to the Tate Gallery by his family and will go on display in West Yorkshire to mark the centenary of his birth.

The 1952 painting, called The Harbour, will feature in the first major exhibition of his work in the UK in more than two decades which will begin at Tate St Ives in Cornwall before going on to Wakefield and Belfast.
