Big Society award

A group which helps people in Halifax following a night out has been recognised for its work by the Prime Minister.

The Halifax Street Angels group has been given a Big Society Award. The idea behind the award is to recognise individuals, groups or organisations that are demonstrating the Big Society in their work or activities. We spoke to founder Paul Blakey MBE outside Number 10.
