Three men have died in a house fire in Spalding, Lincolnshire. Emergency crews were called to Tower Lane shortly after midnight on Sunday.

Polish man among Spalding house fire victims

A Polish man has been formally identified as one of three people killed in a house fire in Lincolnshire at the beginning of May.

Marian Mariusz Laczynski, 38, was caught up in the blaze at Spalding along with two other men.

The two other victims have not yet been formally identified. Police say the fire is not being treated as suspicious.

Third body found in Spalding house fire

A third body has been found at the scene of a fire in Spalding.

Detective say they have not been able to enter the building and the cause of the fire is still not known.

A joint fire service and police investigation into the incident continues.

Two bodies were initially found in the blaze at a property in Tower Lane, off Cowbit Road, in Spalding shortly after midnight on Sunday.

Two people have died in a house fire in Spalding in Lincolnshire. The blaze broke out in the early hours of today in Tower Lane, off Cowbittt Road.

A joint fire service and police investigation is underway. Officers say they are not able to release any further details about the two victims at this stage and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

They are asking anyone with any information they believe may assist the enquiry to call 101, quoting incident number 3 of 1st May.
