Hollywood comes to Huddersfield

Huddersfield's not known to have much in common with Moscow, but it's doing a pretty good job, with all the recent snow we've been having, of standing in for Russia for a film being made in the town.

We may have recently been experiencing something similar to a Russian climate, but a film crew in Huddersfield are using it to their advantage.

A science fiction film based in a Soviet bunker is being made in the town, with several BAFTA-nominated actors starring in it. The studio making it hopes the film will attract future productions to the region.
