Teenager dies after being found slumped unconscious at Leeds bus stop

A 19-year-old woman has died in hospital after being found slumped by a bus stop this morning (19 February).

The teenager was found unconscious on South Parkway in the Seacroft area of Leeds shortly after 5am on Wednesday.

She was taken to hospital by ambulance but later died.

Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.

South Parkway has been closed, with the bus stop near to its junction with Ironwood View forming part of the police scene.
