Woman who fell into Leeds river thanks rescuers
A young woman who was rescued from the River Aire in Leeds has thanked the people who saved her life - and issued a warning to others.
Lou Evans fell into the freezing water after a night's drinking in the city centre.
She was rescued after a passer by used a throwline to help her stay afloat until firefighters arrived.
The safety ropes have been installed along the banks of the river.
