Trial date set for two Sheffield men accused of UK terror plot
Two men accused of preparing to build a bomb for an attack in the UK will stand trial in June, it was decided at the Old Bailey today.
Chip shop owner Andy Sami Star, 31, from Chesterfield, and Farhad Salah, 22, from Sheffield, are each charged with preparing an act of terrorism.
During the twenty-five minute hearing the two men - both Kurdish Iraqis - appeared by video link from Wakefield prison.
They were remanded in custody, with a trial date set for the 25th June at Sheffield Crown Court.
