Money raised to pay for five-year-old Leeds United fan's treatment
£200,000 to pay for a young football fan's treatment for a rare form of cancer has been successfully raised.
Toby Nye was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma last year.
His family launched an online fundraising page to pay for a treatment in America which is not routinely available on the NHS.
The campaign has been supported by Leeds United, with all staff at the club donating a day's wages to the fund.
And the final £25,000 has been donated by Leeds midfielder Samuel Saiz this week.
Leeds United Managing Director Angus Kinnear said: “We talk about family and togetherness a lot at our club, it’s a culture we have been determined to reinstate across everyone involved with Leeds and raising this money has truly been a team effort.
