Thousands pack the streets of Hull as Queen makes royal visit
Thousands packed the streets as the Queen arrived in Hull for a royal visit.
Her majesty unveiled a plaque to mark her trip to the City of Culture and greeted volunteers.
After leaving the station she made her way to the Siemens factory where she was greeted by workers.
Her final stop was at the university, where she will opened the new Allam Medical Building as part of the medial building at the campus.
The Queen also took time out to meet a special lady from the city.
Jean Bishop has raised thousands for charity dressed up as the Bee Lady.
But she left the costume at home to meet the Queen for lunch!
