Brexit on the agenda as seafood sector's big fish gather for Grimsby summit

Hundreds of people from the seafood trade will gather in Grimsby today to discuss the future of the industry.

More than 200 influential members of UK businesses will join government officials from this country and Europe to consider prospects for the sector.

Industry ethics, product integrity and reputation are on the agenda, along with the potential impacts of Brexit.

The two-day summit will open with a networking event held at the Humber Royal Hotel.

A conference takes place tomorrow at The Pier in Cleethorpes.
