Teenage girl accused of trying to kill school worker appears in court
A 16-year-old girl accused of trying to kill a school worker has appeared before a judge at Hull Crown Court.
Joy Simon, 61, was stabbed at Winterton Community Academy at Winterton, near Scunthorpe on Monday.
The teenager - who can't be named - is accused of attempted murder and possessing a kitchen knife in a school.
No pleas were entered today and the girl was remanded in youth detention until the next hearing on October 30th.
A provisional trial date was set for December 11th either in Hull or Sheffield.
