A largely cloudy day with periods of occasionally heavy rain. It will be misty on hills, however some eastern areas may see some bright intervals developing during the afternoon and evening. The southwesterly wind may strengthen over the Pennines. Highs 21°C.
OVERNIGHT:
Outbreaks of rain will continue overnight, remaining quite persistent over the Pennines whilst eastern areas will be drier. Northern parts should become dry by dawn. Feeling rather humid. Lows 15°C.
SUNDAY:
Rain and cloud will clear to the south in the morning. Thereafter it will be a dry day with warm sunny spells and winds becoming light. Highs 23°C.
OUTLOOK:
Dry and warm with long sunny periods Monday and Tuesday, although a cooling coastal breeze developing Tuesday.
Breezy midweek with heavy, possibly thundery showers and perhaps more general rain later.
