'Haunted' Lincolnshire church vandalised
The isolated St. Botolph's Church in Skidbrooke has been vandalised again, according to Lincolnshire Police.
Officers say the 'haunted' thirteenth century church has suffered "many incidents of criminal damage over the years."
The Grade 1 Listed building is located in an isolated location, and church's atmosphere and reputation for paranormal activity attract hundreds of visitors every year.
The Churches Conservation Trust, who care for the building, say they welcome the interest in this important piece of national heritage.
But local police officer, PCSO Billy Spence, says he is "deeply saddened" that visitors are vandalising the local landmark.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Lincolnshire Police.
