Postwoman 'lucky to be alive' after dog attack
The husband of a postwoman who was badly attacked by two large dogs while out delivering in Boston says she is lucky to be alive.
Sharron Singer received 19 separate injuries from the two Dobermans type dogs and had to have extensive surgery and skin grafts to repair muscles, tendons, nerves and ligament damage.
It comes in the same week that Royal Mail highlighted how nearly two and a half thousand such attacks have taken place over the last year.
