Teenager sexually assaulted and robbed four women in Sheffield

A teenager has been jailed for 12 years for sexually assaulting and robbing four women in Sheffield.

Nineteen-year-old Ismael Admassu, of Deer Park Road, attacked his victims in the city centre during October 2016.

He pleaded guilty to four sex offences, four robberies and a wounding at Sheffield Crown Court.

PC Lucy Garside, who investigated the incidents, said: “Admassu has been punished for his despicable actions, and the threat he poses to others has been removed from the community.

“Admassu used violence to intimidate and prey on his victims for personal gain. I would like to thank the brave women involved for reporting the traumatic incidents so quickly, giving the attending officers opportunity to arrest the suspect nearby with the stolen property still on him."

Admassu has also been placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
