High pressure looks set to build from the southwest later on Tuesday into Wednesday. It is due to stay with us for the rest of the week and into the weekend.

SUNDAY PM:

Generally cloudy at first, with scattered mainly light showers. Cloud will slowly break during the morning, with any showers dying out during the afternoon, leaving a dry end to the afternoon with sunny spells and light winds. Maximum Temperature 15 °C.

SUNDAY NIGHT:

Variable cloud and sunny spells throughout the night, remaining dry. Odd mist or fog patch may form with a ground frost in well sheltered places. . Lows 2°C.

MONDAY:

Any early mist or low cloud will clear leading to lengthy sunny spells. During the afternoon cloud will thicken from the west and southerly winds will freshen, ahead of rain overnight. Highs in the south to 16°C.

REST OF THE WEEK:

Unsettled initially on Tuesday but an improving story. Feeling fresher with temperatures down to average.

High pressure then builds from Wednesday. Plenty of dry, clear and sunny weather through the period, especially further east. Warming up again.
