Arson investigation after woman rescued from Scunthorpe house

An arson investigation is underway after a woman had to be rescued from a house in Scunthorpe last night.

Firefighters were called to Frodingham Road at 10.25pm.

She is receiving treatment at Hull Royal Infirmary for non-life threatening injuries.

Detective Chief Inspector Nicki Miller, who is overseeing the investigation, said it does not appear to be a 'random incident':
