Man suffers facial injuries after bar assault

Independent witnesses are being sought after a man suffered facial injuries after being ejected from a Cleethorpes bar.

The incident happened at around 1.25am on Sunday, September 4, at The Bobbin, High Street.

The 33-year-old was taken to Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital and later transferred to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment. He has since been discharged.

Officers investigating the circumstances of the incident are keen to speak to those in the vicinity at the time.
