1966 heroes tour the country 50 years after World Cup win
It was the summer when football really did come home. In 1966, England won the World Cup for the first and only time.
This year it's the 50th anniversary of that special occasion and throughout the year members of that legendary squad will be touring the country to relive that special victory over West Germany at Wembley.
Elland Road in Leeds was the first venue to get the 1966 treatment.
Amongst the legends at the dinner were Sheffield born goalkeeper Gordon Banks, Jack Charlton - Leeds United's record appearance maker, his club colleague Norman "Bite your legs" Hunter and hat-trick hero Sir Geoff Hurst.
