Pictures: Driver killed after truck plunges on to subway in Bradford

A 47-year-old HGV driver has been killed after his truck plunged off a roundabout on to a subway in Bradford this morning.

The crash at the Dudley Hill roundabout has caused significant disruption to traffic in the city and motorists are being urged to use alternative routes.

Emergency services remain at the scene today as work continues to make the road and subway safe and remove the lorry which sustained extensive damage.

Specialist lifting equipment has been requested to remove the lorry and the A650 remains closed at the location.
