Calendar region hit by thunder, lightning and giant hailstones after heatwave

Calendar viewers have been sending in their pictures and videos of thunder and lightning in the Calendar region after the heatwave.

A man's car was dinted by giant hailstones after a thunderstorm in Keighley last night.

Daniel Tillotson, 31, said his car had dints all over the roof during a five-minute hailstorm.

A video of the lightning storm with no thunder was shot by Richard Wilson from Sheffield. It went on for about an hour and a half.
