Polar bear Victor arrives at new Yorkshire home
England's only captive polar bear has moved into his new home in Doncaster. Victor, who weighs 1,058lb (480 kg) arrived at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park after making the journey from Holland by ferry. The 15-year-old animal will be housed in a new facility, called Project Polar, which spans around 10 acres (4 hectares)
Park officials said they collaborated with experts to create an environment which reflects the Arctic summer habitat.
