Central Plaza Hotel repairs could cost more than £600,000

Ongoing repairs to secure the site of the former Central Plaza Hotel in Carlisle could cost more than £600,000.

Deputy Leader of the Conservatives on Carlisle City Council, Gareth Ellis, told ITV Border that works will cost £611,000 over the next few months and that this amount "is not the end":
