England's first snowfall of winter 2016 recorded in Cumbria

The first sign of snow this winter has been recorded in Cumbria.

The snow was on top of Great Dun Fell, east of Penrith - making it England's first snowfall this year.

It marks the start of colder weather across the county and temperatures are expected to stay in the low teens over the next week.
