Lorry carrying wind turbine blade catches fire
A lorry carrying a wind turbine blade caught fire closing one of the main roads in southern Scotland.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A714 near Bargrennan around 10 miles from Newton Stewart shortly before 6am this morning.
The lorry driver escaped injury and fire crews from Newton Stewart extinguished the blaze.
The cab of the vehicle was completely destroyed.
