Fire destroys derelict building in Lockerbie

Fire has destroyed a derelict shop building on a main route through Lockerbie.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews from Lockerbie and Moffat were sent to the scene shortly before 4am this morning.

They were joined later by firefighters from Annan and Dumfries and the B723 Townhead Street was shut between Livingstone Place and Victoria Road.
