Plans are being discussed to prevent a coastal road in Cumbria being regularly closed due to sea debris.

The B5300 between Allonby and Silloth is often forced to close because of sand and rocks landing on the road.

Highways managers and Workington MP, Sue Hayman, are meeting concerned residents this evening in Mawbray to discuss road improvements.
