A 65-year-old woman fell and broke her leg after slipping down cliffs near St Abbs on Wednesday afternoon.

Due to the difficult location of the casualty, just south of Horsecastle Bay, both Eyemouth RNLI lifeboats were called out.

They joined police and paramedics who were already on the scene, before assisting the woman back to shore.

She was then transferred to an ambulance and taken to hospital.
