Fatal fire in Dumfries kills male occupant
A fatal fire occurred in Dumfries this morning, as a male occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services were called to an address on Dalswinton Avenue at around 07:44am.
The man was removed from a first floor flat but did not survive his injuries.
The fire was extinguished and a joint fire investigation is being arranged.
