Peebleshire woman wins Miss Transgender UK title

A woman from Walkerburn has won the UK's top transgender title.

Jai Darra Latto, 22, tweeted about her victory in the Miss Transgender UK 2015 competition:

The former Peebles High School pupil told ITV Border earlier this month that she wanted to use to raise awareness of transgender issues in the Scottish Borders.
