A Cumbrian farmer and his family have been to meet the Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance team to thank them for saving his life twice. He wants to highlight the importance of supporting the charity.

Air ambulance thanked after saving man's life twice

Next, to the man whose life has been saved not once but twice by the air ambulance. Farmer Jonathan Thwaites who lives near Penrith fell off a barn roof last month.

Meanwhile, an accident seven years ago left him with pelvic injuries so getting him to hospital fast was crucial. Today, he thanked the Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance crew. Kim Inglis reports.
