Annual Solfest cancelled for 2014
The organisers of a festival in Cumbria have announced that the event will not take place next year.
In a statement they said that the postponement "allows us a much needed break after ten long years, and also gives us the chance to concentrate our efforts on Solfest 2015."
The statement continues,
"When we return, we intend to remain one of the most loved and best valued family friendly festivals in the country.
"We would like to thank all our supporters for their hard work and commitment over the last ten years.
"We are as committed as ever to the Solfest ethos and our passion for getting it right and creating the type of festival which you all deserve.
"We look forward to seeing each and every one of you back in our usual spot between the 28th and 30th of August 2015. We’ll keep the grass warm for you!"
