Services held in Stranraer to honour victims

Two services are being held in Stranraer to honour the 133 victims of the Princess Victoria disaster.

It has been 60 years since the ferry sank in the North Channel after leaving Loch Ryan, near Stranraer.

The disaster was at the time, the worst maritime disaster since the second world war.

The first service is taking place at 11am at the Princess Victoria memorial in Agnew Park in Stranraer.

The second serviced is being held in the Town Kirk at 11.30am.
