Road in north Cumbria reopened following collapse
The A7 in Longtown has reopened to traffic after a collapse in Longtown but restrictions are in place.
The bridge in the town across the River Esk had to be closed on safety grounds on Saturday 28 September.
This morning, engineers inspected the structure to ensure vehicles are safe to cross over.
Traffic can now pass over the bridge, but only in one direction at a time.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed to control the flow of vehicles. It's unclear how long these restrictions will be in place.
