Trains 'should' start running on Lakes Line by early July

Cumbria County Council say trains should start to run on the Lakes Line again by early next month.

Councillors have been working closely with Transport for the North to get the line back up and running.

Cllr Keith Little, the cabinet member for transport, says they believe that Northern Rail have understood their concerns and the fears of local businesses in the midst of their very important tourist season.
