Police confirm body found is missing singer Scott Hutchison

Police Scotland have confirmed that the body found at Port Edgar, near South Queensferry, at around 8.30pm on Thursday 10 May, is that of Scott Hutchison.

An investigation was launched after the 36-year-old lead singer of Frightened Rabbit was reported missing on Wednesday 9 May.

Hutchison, who is originally from Selkirk, was last seen at the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry at around 1am on Wednesday 9 May.

Tributes have been pouring in from friends, family and musicians.

Scott's family have issued this statement.
