New bus services for Hawick, Peebles and Selkirk

New bus services in Hawick, Peebles and Selkirk will start up next month.

Perryman's Buses will take over the services, along with spending £500,000 in new vehicles.

The buses will operate Hawick town services as well as the service 73 Selkirk Bannerfield to Galashiels and 61 school service between Oxton, Lauder and Earlston High School.

The service will replace similar routes previously provided by First Scotland East.

All new services will begin on Monday 15 August 2016.
