Residents along a stretch of coastal road in Cumbria say urgent action is needed to prevent it being repeatedly blocked by debris from the sea.
The B3500 between Allonby and Silloth is often forced to close because of hundreds of tonnes of sand and rocks being washed onto the carriageway.
Locals are meeting with Workington MP Sue Hayman, Cumbria County Council and highways officials this evening to come up with a solution.
