Harbour dredging set to start

Plans to restore Annan Harbour to its former glory are due to begin.

Since falling into decline the bottom of the harbour hasn't been cleared for almost 50 years, but It was once a thriving port that transported goods and people around the world.

Annan Harbour Action Group have secured £22,000 to fund the dredging which they hope will being visitors back to the area.
