Three lorry crash closes A75

The A75 Gretna to Stranraer road at Carsluith is blocked as Police Scotland deals with a crash involving three lorries.

The three vehicles were involved in the crash at around 3am this morning.

Only one driver was injured in the incident.

He was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary where he was treated for minor injuries including cuts to the head and arm and glass in an eye.

He has since left hospital.

Work is currently ongoing to remove all the debris from the roadway in order to have it fully open again.
