British comedy premiers in Cumbria
A premier for a British comedy film set in Cumbria will be held in Ambleside tonight (27th May).
It follows a group of friends hoping to complete the Wainright Coast to Coast walk from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay in NorthYorkshire. However, their plans soon take the form of multiple midlife crises.
The film ‘Downhill’ includes a number of famous faces including:
Richard Lumsden (Sightseers, TV’s The Catherine Tate Show)
Karl Theobald (film Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa)
Jeremy Swift (TV’s Downton Abbey)
Ned Dennehy (TV’s Luther)
The premier will be held at Zeffirellis in Ambleside and will be attended by the director James Rouse along with cast members Richard Lumsden and Jeremy Swift, producer Benji Howell and writer Torben Betts.
'Downhill' will reach cinemas on May 30th.
