Hogg and Halfpenny head to head at Murrayfield
Stuart Hogg has been one of the stand out players of this year's six nations.
The 20-year-old has been on the international scene for just over a year but has played his way into Lions consideration with good performances against Italy, Ireland and England so far during this campaign.
Welshman Leigh Halfpenny is the other form fullback of the tournament and Lions coach Warren Gatland will be taking a keen interest this afternoon as the two clash.
Scotland still have title aspirations but will need to win handsomely this afternoon and hope England slip up against Italy to improve their chances.
Former Earlston High School pupil Kelly Brown will captain Scotland this afternoon.
Hooker Ross Ford retains his place in the front row that gave Ireland such problems in Dublin a fortnight ago, while loosehead Geoff Cross returns to the bench despite being singled out for praise in that game as Euan Murray returns to the starting fifteen.
