33-stone Judo player touches down
The man who was the heaviest competitor at Beijing 2008, and is likely to be in London 2012, has arrived in Kendal to begin his training.
Ricardo Blas, aka 'the little mountain', is estimated to weigh just over 33 stone (210kg) and will compete in Judo.
The fighter from Guam in Asia will join other Oceania competitors who are making use of Kendal Judo Club's world class facilities.
He is still only 'likely to be the heaviest' because not all the competitors have been confirmed, but it is extremely unlikely there will be heavier competitor - since Blas broke all records last time.
