Teenager charged with Ipswich stabbing

A 18 year old man has been charged with stabbing a 16-year-old boy in Ipswich.

Rishawn Mohammed of Hurricane Place in Ipswich has been charged with wounding with intent and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.

The attack took place on Wednesday at around 7.30pm outside the McDonald’s fast food restaurant in Ravenswood Avenue. The victim has now been released from hospital.

A 17-year-old boy from Ipswich charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis in connection with the same incident appeared before at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was bailed to return to magistrates on Thursday 21 June.
