Travel chaos on the M11 following car fire

A car fire has caused chaos on the M11 between Junction 8 (Stansted Airport) and J9 (Saffron Weldon).

Traffic was temporally stopped while emergency services dealt with the fire.

Fire crews have put out the fire and the road has now reopened.

The Highways Agency have ward drives to be mindful of drifting smoke.
