The Morrisons supermarket at Riverside in Norwich was closed by a security threat.

Shoppers were asked to leave at lunchtime on Saturday January 6 while staff searched the inside of the shop as a precaution. Norfolk Police say the closure was sparked by a 999 call they'd received.

Officers were called out to reassure customers. They closed off the car park and were not letting anyone else in.

Queues of people waited outside while the shop was searched. It reopened once searches were complete.
